This calculator uses the standard tire industry formula: Diameter = Rim + (2 ร Section Width ร Aspect Ratio รท 100 รท 25.4). The aspect ratio is the sidewall height as a percentage of the section width. Revs per mile is derived from 63,360 inches per mile divided by the circumference (ฯ ร diameter).
How to use: Enter your tire's section width (mm), aspect ratio (%), and rim diameter (inches). Click Calculate to see overall diameter, circumference, revs per mile, and sidewall height. Save results to compare multiple sizes.
Tip: A 3% difference in diameter from stock will cause noticeable speedometer error. Always verify with a tire professional before purchasing.
